The University of Physical Education (UPE) has been honored to host a delegation from one of the most distinguished higher education institutions in Japan: Waseda University, Tokyo. The parties conducted some consultations with focus on a professional cooperation they intend to establish in the near future. The representatives of the two universities have shared their presentations about the institutions, calling attention to their strength and aspirations.
You are cordially invited to the bilingual conference on innovation and sports, organized by the Hungarian National Trading House and the University of Physical Education of Budapest. The date of the event is 9-10 May, 2018 and the location is the Groupama Arena. Our aim is to foster dialogue on recent findings and innovative ideas, methods as well as to stimulate further processes of turning ideas to success.
Between the 4th and 8th of December, in the 4th K-week, we took part in a fantastic camp. The ice camp was organized at the Városligeti Műjégpálya, 2 hours a day. Students were divided into groups, where teachers taught different ice skating tasks.
University Sports Festival Budapest was organized for the 2nd time by Eötvös Loránd University, ESN ELTE and BEAC (Budapest University Athletics Club) on the 24th of November. Around 300 foreign students of 11 higher education institutions of Budapest were training together at the festival in ELTE sports hall.
Native Canadian, Dr. Jason Blake was hosted by the Directorate of International Relations at the University of Physical Education and Dr. habil Gábor Géczi, Head of Sport Management Department last week.
The International Relations Center have had the pleasure to welcome Dr. Susan J. Bandy, an earlier guest lecturer to our university (1997-1999) from Ohio State University, USA, accompanied by our professor, Dr. Katalin Szikora, colleague of the Social Sciences Department.
