In a few days, the volunteers of the Hungarian University of Sports Science’s (TF) Volunteer and Sustainability Office will have the chance to prove themselves at the Rhythmic Gymnastics' 2024 European Championships to be held in Budapest, Hungary.
The Rhythmic Gymnastics' 2024 European Championships will be held in Budapest between 22 and 26 May. Last Saturday the volunteers of TF reached another milestone in their preparations for the competition: they were trained online for the event, during which speakers gave an insight into the preparations for the competition and the tasks to be completed.
The venue and the rules of the competition as well as the different tasks were introduced and explained by competition director Andrea Kovács.
"Volunteer training is an extremely important part of any major sporting event, as these enthusiastic and dedicated people are key to the successful running of the event," the director stressed.
With the training of volunteers, the preparations for the event are now on the home stretch. As we know, the training will help volunteers to be confident and effective in helping during the European Championships. We are all looking forward to organising a pleasant and memorable Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships.
