Dear Students, Dear Thesis Supervisors, Dear Stakeholders! The PhD Symposium in Sports Science is organised by the Doctoral School for the seventh time this year. The Symposium is also an official event of the New National Programme for Excellence, where the PhD students who have been awarded a grant in 2021 present their scientific achievements in a special session.

One of the most memorable moments of last weekend's Hungarian Olympic Committee (MOB) General Assembly was the recognition of Dr. Gábor Pavlik, Professor Emeritus of the Department of Health Sciences and Sport Medicine at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS). Mr. Pavlik was awarded the MOB Lifetime Achievement Medal.

Two of the graduating BA coaching students attending the Hungarian University of Sports Science, namely Bence Svasznek and Milán Horváth, received end-of-season awards by the Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation (MJSZ) at the delegate meeting held recently.

The International Sports Diplomacy Forum held under the Framework of ISCA TES-D Project at the Hungarian University of Sports Science made a great success.

On 6 May, which is the Day of Hungarian Sport, the Wall of Hungarian Sports Stars was inaugurated at the Hungarian University of Sports Sciences (HUSS) in a ceremony amidst huge media interest.

A six-member delegation led by the rector of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), dr. Tamás Sterbenz, met with the leaders and representatives of 11 international sports federations in Lausanne that is known as the home of federations on 26 April.
