International Coaching Course (ICC) graduation ceremony was held at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) on 30 May signalling the end of the ten-week period.
A total of 12 Olympic Solidarity scholarship holders were chosen to participate, selected from 50 applicants, representing their respective countries around the Globe.
During the weeks of the training, our international students learnt 13 subjects parallel with their sport specification. This ICC program have stepped up immensely in terms of creating pathways for next generation coaches, quality assurance also generating new philosophy and approaches to coaching.
Prof Dr Tamas Sterbenz opened the ceremony and greeted and touched the hearts of all the special guests, including Yermek Zhylkaidarov, consular representative of Embassy of Kazakh Republic (culture, education, sport and protocol department), H.E. Mrs Gentiana Mburimi, Ambassador and Head of Mission of Albania in Hungary, Mr Yassine Yousfi, Head of International Coaching Program, Head of Entourage Unit, Olympic Solidarity, Dr habil Judit Kadar, Director of International Relations Office of HUSS, also all the faculty of ICC program, scholarships holders and guests from various organizational units of HUSS.
Dr habil Judit Kadar, Director of the Department of the International Relations at HUSS took over and expressed her gratitude to Olympic Solidarity for their support to ICC program. She also spoke about future opportunities our fresh graduates could gain or benefit from building on the certificate. Dr Kadar addressed her admirable words personally to fellow professors, international students, colleagues and to all during her speech.
Nothing could express better all the thoughts, feelings, bonds and experience, also belief in future of coaching and the HUSS' program itself than the instant testimonials and messages the still keep pouring in to our office.
“As we progressed through the course, we did not only developed our coaching skills but also formed deep bonds of friendship and camaraderie. The lively debates over coaching philosophies, and the shared laughter and stories have created memories that will last a lifetime. We have become more than just classmates; we have become a family, united by our shared passion for coaching and our determination to make a positive impact in the lives of our athletes”, said Hysham Abdulla from the Maldives.
“You have shown me the true meaning of friendship, support, and unconditional love, and created memories that will forever be attached in my heart”, reacted Keis Fetishaj from Albania.
