HUSS presents itself at the APAIE international conference

The representatives of the Hungarian University of Sport Science (HUSS) also participated in the APAIE international conference held between 25 and 27 March. This event is the largest in Asia focusing on university partnerships.

This year's APAIE conference was hosted in New Delhi. The Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) was represented at the event by Denissza Blanár, Director of the Directorate of International Relations and international key account manager Nóra Szénási.

The conference covered three main areas: diversity and inclusion, global citizenship as a possible pathway, and opportunities for research and capacity building, with several presentations focusing on the latter. However, the main emphasis was on establishing and strengthening partnerships through meetings.

During the three-day APAIE event, nearly 50 universities and educational agents visited the HUSS's booth, from which fruitful agreements are hopefully expected in the future.

The day after the conference, the HUSS colleagues visited the Hungarian Embassy in New Delhi, where they discussed current topics with the Consul General and two immigration consuls. In the afternoon, the HUSS delegation was received by Mrs. Sanjita Chaturvedi, Secretary of the Sports Authority of India (SAI). The meeting was attended by the Director General of SAI, the Director of Education, and two leaders from the SAI Patiala Office. The main topic of the discussion was a project between the university and SAI. In line with the project plan, SAI intends to send 70 Indian coaches to HUSS for a three-week intensive professional training.

SAI highly values Hungary's sports achievements and aims to build on the previous close cooperation with this project, taking it to a new level.

To close the busy program, HUSS delegates met with Hungary's Honorary Consul, Aditya Surpal, organized by the embassy. He also showed interest in HUSS's international portfolio.
