List of TF students travelling to the European University Games is complete

A total of 102 students representing the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) will participate in the European University Games (EUG), which will be held in Miskolc and Debrecen between 12 and 24 July.

More than 900 coaches, referees, and sports professionals, 3,800 athletes, and about 1,000 volunteers from 40 countries and 400 universities will be involved in the European Universities Games (EUG) from July 12 to 24 in Miskolc and Debrecen, Hungary. The two-week competition will feature seventeen sports.

The EUG will see 700 participants from 22 Hungarian higher education institutions, the largest Hungarian delegation in the history of the games.

Students from the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) are also preparing for the competition. The 102 TF students will compete in a total of 11 sports: 3x3 basketball, outdoor basketball, beach handball, chess, badminton, handball, judo, karate, kick-boxing, taekwondo and volleyball.

The 2022 Games held in Lodz saw a total of 102 athletes from TF taking part. Never before had a Hungarian higher education institution participated in the European University Games with such a large team.

The EUG 2022 will also be remembered for the fact that our university, which turned out to be the most successful Hungarian higher education institution at the competition, finished fourth in the medal table with five gold and seven bronze medals.
