Supervisor and instructor for the university’s Inclusive Sports Instructor Training Program Luca Ekler won 1-1 gold medal in the women’s 100m T38 and the long jump final, respectively, at the KOBE2024 World Para Athletics Championships.
She is simply unbeatable. Luca Ekler, a supervisor and instructor for the Hungarian University of Sports Science’s (TF) Inclusive Sports Instructor Training Program made her country and university proud by setting a season record while edging out Colombia’s Karen Tatiana Palomeque Moreno by 0.03 seconds to stand on top of the podium in the women’s 100m T38 final.
On Tuesday, Luca Ekler was unbeaten in the long jump as well, setting a world record of 5.63 metres in the final of her category, winning this event as well, so she is now a six-time world champion. She won his third consecutive World Championships gold medal in the long jump and is also the defending Paralympic champion in this event, and has gold medals from the European Championships and Paralympics overall. She is of course preparing for this year's Paris Olympic Games.
