Mongolian Sport Minister to Visit the Hungarian University of Sports Science

Mongolian Member of Parliament and Minister of Olympism, Physical Culture and Sport, Mr. Badmaanyambuu Bat-Erdene have visited our university recently. Mr. Bat-Erdene came to Budapest as a member of the Mongolian presidential delegation to Hungary and requested to visit our university as an extra program.

The minister, who used to be a world-level athlete and has achieved outstanding results in several combat sports - wrestling, judo and sambo -, was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Tamás Sterbenz, rector and international relations director Dr. habil. Judit Kádár and coordinator Györgyi Koppa.

After a short presentation introducing HUSS and its programs, the parties discussed possible areas of cooperation, student and teacher exchange programs and mobility funding.

Following the meeting, our guest toured the campus and visited the Combat Sports Department briefly, where he was received by László Csákvári, karate master instructor.
