HUSS teachers give a lecture at the University of Presov

Dr Tamás Csányi Associate Professor and Dr István Soós Research Professor, members of the Teacher Training Institute, represented our university at the international scientific conference "Diagnostics in Sport".

The event was held on 5 and 6 September, 2023 at the University of Presov in Slovakia.

Among the distinguished speakers from almost ten countries, Tamás Csányi was the invited plenary speaker and gave the opening lecture of the conference on the situation and development of physical education and sports in Hungarian schools. He also presented the most important research results on the last ten years of everyday physical education.

HUSS teachers give a lecture at the University of Presov

István Soós presented the results of his research with his co-authors on a scientific poster. The global data collection project called "For Active, Healthy Youth", covering 57 countries, compared the physical activity and sedentary lifestyle characteristics of the V4 countries (Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czeh Republic).

The delegation was also accompanied by Philippine Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship student Janice Juaban to gain experience. The conference was an excellent opportunity for participants to establish university cooperation at regional level.
