Luca Ekler wins silver medal and breaks her own personal best at the World Para Athletics Championships in Paris

HUSS paralympic champion won a silver medal on Tuesday in the women's 100m at the World Para Athletics Championships in Paris in the T38 category.

Luca Ekler, former student of the Hungarian University of Sports Science, Head of the Inclusive Sports Instructor Programme, has proven again that she has a deserved place at the top of the world of para athletics.

At the World Para Athletics Championships taking place in Paris, she finished second behind her Colombian rival breaking her an individual best of 12.54 seconds, thus securing Hungary's first medal at the event.

What is more important, however, is that Luca's performance has earned her another national quota for the 2024 Paralympics in Paris, so Hungary now has four quotas for the Paris event: one each in athletics and cycling, and two in shooting.

Congratulations, Luca!
