Tamás Csányi holds lecture on fitness status of Hungarian schoolchildren in Belgrade

An opening plenary lecture on the fitness status of Hungarian schoolchildren was given at the University of Belgrade by Dr Tamás Csányi, Head of the Department of Physical Education Theory and Methodology of Education at HUSS.

On 9 and 10 December 2022, the 21^st International Conference on Sport Science, Physical Education and Health titled Integrative Fitness Development was held at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education of the University of Belgrade.

Dr Tamás Csányi, Head of the Department of Physical Education Theory and Methodology of Education of our university gave the opening plenary lecture as an invited speaker. He delivered a speech on the characteristics of health-related fitness status of Hungarian school-age youth, the effects of the coronavirus pandemic and everyday physical education.

In addition, the presentation also focussed on the scientific and pedagogical basis of the NETFIT school fitness measurement system and the specificity of its operation.

At the annual conference in Serbia, some 80 scientists from seven countries presented their latest findings.
