# International Relations Center

Representatives from the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) have visited the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Comenius University, Bratislava (CU) in neighbouring Slovakia. The primary goal was to foster collaboration and exchange ideas in the field of sports education and research.

On October 26th, the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) transformed into a global Halloween extravaganza, thanks to the International Relations Centre (IRC). Students and faculty, dressed in a variety of hilarious and chilling costumes, came together for an unforgettable night of fright and delight.

On 24 October, aletter of intent was signed between the Havana-based Manuel Fajardo University of the Sciences of the Physical Culture and Sport (UCCFD) and the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS). The parties intend to cooperate in a number of areas in the future.

Last week's biomechanics course held at the Hungarian University of Sports Science was accomplished with success, and participants declared it was a professionally fruitful event. The course was realised through the Erasmus Blended Intensive Program (BIP).

Between 2 and 6 October, 2023, 15 coaching major students and 4 instructors of the Sepsiszentgyörgy Faculty of Sapientia University visited our university.

In early October, the International Coaching Course at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) once again commenced.

A major event entitled „The basics of musculoskeletal modelling and simulation using OpenSim” started on Monday and will run until Friday at the Hungarian University of Sports Science with the support of Erasmus.

Members of the International Relations Center from the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) attended the second Forum on Sports Diplomacy on 19 September 2023, organized by Dr Anna Mladenovics, Head of Liszt Institute of Zagreb. 

On the morning of 4 September, the university hall was packed not only with curious first-year Hungarian students, but also with 40 international students who will take part in the Sport Coaching course within the framework of Erasmus +.

His Excellency Edgard Arturo Perez Alvan, the extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador of Peru to Hungary, and David Celis, Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission of the South American Mission to Peru, visited the Hungarian University of Sports Science.

Former Olympic and World champion long-distance runner, President of the  Ethiopian Athletics Federations (EAF), Derartu Tulu visited HUSS to sign a two-year cooperation agreement between the two institutions.

The Sport Diplomacy Conference held on June 28th and 29th in San Sebastian/Donostia, Basque Country, Spain was an important event that brought together global leaders, decision-makers, and representatives from prestigious institutions.

The International Relations Centre’s director and staff members from the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) recently paid a visit to Charles University Faculty of Physical Education and Sport in Prague, Czech Republic, to explore avenues for collaboration.

A successful on-site week marks the launch of the university's first Blended Intensive Program (BIP) organized by the International Relations Center. A group of 15 international students recently participated in the on-site week of our BIP, which started in May with the online classes. This program aimed at enhancing their language skills through a combination of classes and social programs.

Dr habil Judit Kádár, Director of the International Relations and Gabriella Sztojalovszky partnership coordinator visited the University of Valencia (UV) in Spain.

We talked about the background, status and importance of the International Coach Course (ICC) held at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) with András Szabó, member of the International Relations Centre (IRC) at HUSS.

International Coaching Course (ICC) graduation ceremony was held at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) on 30 May signalling the end of the ten-week period.

The Hungarian University of Sport Sciences (HUSS) hosted the International Days (IDIH 2023) between 25 and 27 April. The event was organised by the International Relations Centre (IRC) lead by Dr habil Judit Kádár.

Tuesday saw the beginning of the International Days (IDIH 2023) that is currently being held at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS).
