Starting university in a new country can feel both exciting and overwhelming. That’s why the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) made it a priority to welcome its new international students with open arms at the very first International Welcome Day held on 27 September at the university’s campus.

Denissza Blanár, Director of the International Relations Centre (IRC), represented Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) at One of Europe's Leading Higher Education Conferences, the annual European Association for International Education (AIE) conference.

This year, Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) celebrates its centenary with more than a hundred international students.

On Tuesday, representatives of Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) and Guangzhou Sport University (GSU) discussed opportunities for cooperation between the two institutions, including sports science and football coach training.

Representatives of the Naresuan University of Thailand and the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) discussed, among other things, the mobility of teachers and students within the framework of the Pannonia Scholarship Programme and the joint development of sports and performance diagnostics between the two universities.

The representatives of the Hungarian University of Sport Science (HUSS) also participated in the APAIE international conference held between 25 and 27 March. This event is the largest in Asia focusing on university partnerships.

On November 28, 2024, the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) proudly hosted the Graduation Ceremony for the International Coaching Course (ICC), which was a milestone event that celebrated the achievements of 19 exceptional students representing 17 countries across four continents and specializing in 10 different Olympic sports disciplines.

Nineteen foreign students joined the university’s increasingly popular International Coaching Course (ICC), supported by the Olympic Solidarity (OS).

Györgyi Koppa, partnership coordinator of the International Relations Centre (IRC) at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) visited Cologne and Münster, where she had a meeting with Head of the International Office Dr Gerald King (German Sport University Cologne) and Rosemary Dubbeldam (University of Münster).

The International Days 2024 (IDIH 2024) at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) were organised by the International Relations Center (IRC) on 17 and 18 April.

The Erasmus+ students have successfully arrived and started the spring semester at our university, facing an exciting period ahead.

In a bid to foster international cooperation and expand its global network, the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) recently embarked on a significant diplomatic mission to China.  

Mongolian Member of Parliament and Minister of Olympism, Physical Culture and Sport, Mr. Badmaanyambuu Bat-Erdene have visited our university recently. Mr. Bat-Erdene came to Budapest as a member of the Mongolian presidential delegation to Hungary and requested to visit our university as an extra program.

From January 29th to April 19th, the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) played host to an esteemed cohort of students for the FIE Fencing Intensive International Coach Program.

Under the direction of Dr Judit Kádár, a new, international course was launched in January at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS).
