NETRISK Sport and Innovation Conference programme is taking shape

Györgyi Koppa, partnership coordinator of the International Relations Centre (IRC) at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) visited Cologne and Münster, where she had a meeting with Head of the International Office Dr Gerald King (German Sport University Cologne) and Rosemary Dubbeldam (University of Münster).

The International Days 2024 (IDIH 2024) at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) were organised by the International Relations Center (IRC) on 17 and 18 April.

The Erasmus+ students have successfully arrived and started the spring semester at our university, facing an exciting period ahead.

Mongolian Member of Parliament and Minister of Olympism, Physical Culture and Sport, Mr. Badmaanyambuu Bat-Erdene have visited our university recently. Mr. Bat-Erdene came to Budapest as a member of the Mongolian presidential delegation to Hungary and requested to visit our university as an extra program.

From January 29th to April 19th, the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) played host to an esteemed cohort of students for the FIE Fencing Intensive International Coach Program.

Under the direction of Dr Judit Kádár, a new, international course was launched in January at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS).

On 12 and 13 December, a delegation from the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) visited the Torrent campus of the Catholic University of Valencia (CUV) and the Faculty of Sport of the University of Valencia (UV).

On 11 December, a delegation from the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) visited the Faculty of Sport of the University of Bergamo. 

In a significant step towards fostering international cooperation and academic collaboration, a delegation from Brigham Young University (BYU), Utah, USA have recently visited the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS). The visit aimed to continue research with HUSS Department of Health Sciences and Sport Medicine and lay the groundwork for future partnership between the two prestigious institutions.

A number of European higher education institutions were represented recently in an event held in St. Pölten, Austria. The Hungarian University of Sports Science’s (HUSS) partner institution, the St. Pölten University organised a training course for those working in the internationalisation of higher education.

To advance global expertise in Sprint Canoeing coaching, the Hungarian University of Sports Science recently conducted the Sprint Canoe Level 3 Online Expert Coaching Course in collaboration with the International Canoe Federation (ICF).

Dr Klaudia Zuskova, Associate Professor at the Pavol Jozef Safarik University based in Kosice visited the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) as part of the Erasmus+ KA131 programme.

Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs) are an innovative form of academic experiences, blending digital and in-person learning for an enriched education. These programs hold a vital place in universities because they address the changing educational landscape and provide students with dynamic learning opportunities while fostering global connections.

Representatives from the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) have visited the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Comenius University, Bratislava (CU) in neighbouring Slovakia. The primary goal was to foster collaboration and exchange ideas in the field of sports education and research.
