The Hungarian University and Sports Science and the Hungarian Synchronised Swimming Association have signed a cooperation agreement.

Dr Yvette Budainé Csepela, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) visited the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Gedik University in Istanbul.

On 24 October, aletter of intent was signed between the Havana-based Manuel Fajardo University of the Sciences of the Physical Culture and Sport (UCCFD) and the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS). The parties intend to cooperate in a number of areas in the future.

Four members of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) visited the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) on 25 August to discuss the possibilities of future cooperation between the two institutions.

Delegates of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) and Transylvanian universities met to discuss the prospects of future cooperations.

The Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) and the Europe’s and Hungary’s leading private diagnostics laboratory Synlab, which also supports the performance of Hungarian elite athletes, have signed a cooperation agreement.

In addition to seven other Hungarian universities, Dr Sándor Wladár, President of the Hungarian Swimming Federation (HSF) signed a cooperation agreement with the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS).

On October 17, 2022, our university welcomed Dr Kantaro Matsui, the Rector of International Budo University (IBU). Dr Matsui was accompanied by Abe Testushi, guest lecturer at Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) and former HUSS student Yuto Tonoyama.

Between 1st and 9th October, 2022, the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) welcomed Axel Binnenbruck from the Faculty of Sports Science of Münster University (MU). The German guest lecturer was received by Vice-Rector for General Affairs Dr Csaba Ökrös. 

On October 12, 2022, the Hungarian University of Sports Science’s (HUSS) Rector Professor Dr Tamás Sterbenz, International Relations Director Dr habil Judit Kádár and Rector’s Advisor Kálmán Figler visited Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica (UMB).

In response to the last year's invitation, Prof. Dr. h. c. Lajos Mocsai Rector of the University of Physical Education (UPE) has visited the German Sport University Cologne (GSU), which is one of the most remarkable European partner institutions of UPE. Prof. Dr. Heiko Strüder, Rector of GSU and Dr. Gerard King, International Director, hosted the delegation for two days (Prof. Dr. h. c. Lajos Mocsai Rector, Jörg Bauer, President of UPE Consortium and Andrea Rédli, International Coordinator of the International Relations Center).

In July 2017, Dr. Liu Daqing, representing the China Swimming Association and the Beijing Sport University has visited the University of Physical Education in Budapest, Hungary with a delegation from the Chinese Swimming Association where they have met the representatives of the International Relations Centre (TE).

The chancellor of the University of Physical Education, Dr. Ferenc Genzwein, Othmar Michl, the president of the Economic Advisory Board of the University, and the Head of the International Relations Directorate, Dr. Judit Kádár and Andrea Rédli, Coordinator for International Relations, met personally with the heads of the PH Burgenland (Dr. Gundl Rauter, Dr. Eva Burger, Mag. Sabine Haider, Mag. Irma Ortner Lidy) in Eisenstadt.

The director of the International Relations Center, Dr. Judit Kádár with colleagues of the IRC Fruzsina Nyáry and Andrea Rédli visited the FH St. Pölten in Austria. The representatives of the two universities had an introductory meeting and explored the possible ways of the professional cooperation.

University of Physical Education welcomed Prof. Hideki Takagi from Tsukuba University Japan and the representatives of their water polo team, along with Roland Nemes who has graduated from TE and now lecturer at Tsukuba.

Dr. Lajos Mocsai rector has visited the London Metropolitan University where he has met the management of the university as a part of a discussion, after which they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities.

Jeon Ki Young Olympic champion and three times world champion representing the Yong In University (Republic of Korea) has visited the University of Physical Education on 14th February.
