# International Relations Center

The exciting program of the 3. Sport and Innovation International Conference was enriched by the attendance of many international delegations to our university. The visit of the Colombian swimmer delegation, which was a great success last fall, was organized for the second time at UPE at the request of the Colombian Embassy in Budapest, with the help of Counselor Duván Reynerio Ocampo Pinzón.

Dr. Michael Bar-Eli, professor of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva and the Ribstein Center for Research and Sport Medicine Sciences, Wingate Institute has visited the University of Physical Education (UPE) recently.

Similarly to the previous years, the University of Physical Education has taken part in the International ERACON Congress and Exhibition, in Paphos, Cyprus represented itself with an English languages presentation.

The International Days held for the third time, put emphasis on existing and new partnerships, as well as the exchange of information on opportunities for faculty mobility.

Dr. Chain Lit Khoon Zason, representing the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science at the National Institute of Education (NIE) Singapore has visited the International Relations Center at the University of Physical Education (UPE).

The International Relations Center have had the pleasure to welcome Dr. Susan J. Bandy, an earlier guest lecturer to our university (1997-1999) from Ohio State University, USA, accompanied by our professor, Dr. Katalin Szikora, colleague of the Social Sciences Department.

The International Relations Center of the University of Physical Education and Dr. Tamás Dóczi, a member of the Taiwani joint English language educational program (MSc), have received a two-member delegation (Professors Sam Sy-Sang Liaw, PhD, Ministry of Science and Technology Prague, Director and Nan-Jun Liu, First Secretary at Taipei Representative Office Hungary,) on November 8, 2017 in Budapest.

Dr. Tamás Sterbenz, Vice rector for general affairs and Dr. Judit Kádár, Director of the International Relations Center, visited the University of New Mexico in October.

On behalf of the University of Physical Education, Dr. Judit Kádár and Andrea Rédli from the International Relations Center, and Dr. Gábor Géczi, Head of Sport Management Department, spent one week within the framework of Staff Mobility Program in Canada.

The director of the International Relations Center, Dr. Judit Kádár with colleagues of the IRC Fruzsina Nyáry and Andrea Rédli visited the FH St. Pölten in Austria. The representatives of the two universities had an introductory meeting and explored the possible ways of the professional cooperation.
