# Meter Matters (EN)

The Erasmus+ funded European project Meter Matters has been running for almost two years. The final event of the programme, which included a round-table discussion with Hungarian Olympic champions, was held at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), one of the partner institutions of the programme.

The implementation of the Erasmus+ funded European project Meter Matters has set its next stage for the participants of the partnership. In order to gather indicators for the development of possible co-financing schemes, a focus group interview was conducted, this time with the participation of sports federation leaders.

Representatives of the Hungarian University of Sports Science took part in the second meeting of the European project titled METER MATTERS between January 31 and February 2 at the University of Coimbra in Portugal. The sub-title of the project is “Proposal of criteria and model for co-funding inclusion in sport”, which is also one of the main expected outcomes of the collaboration of 6 organisations.

With the participation of the Hungarian University of Sports Sciences (HUSS), the kick-off meeting for Erasmus+ project named Meter Matters was organized in Ljubljana. The Faculty of Sport of the University of Ljubljana, the coordinator of the project, along with other partners from Slovenia and Portugal were introduced to the project that will be completed at the end of May 2024.
