Dr Tamás Csányi Associate Professor and Dr István Soós Research Professor, members of the Teacher Training Institute, represented our university at the international scientific conference "Diagnostics in Sport".

On 22 August, in parallel with the World Athletics Championships to take place in Budapest, the World Athletics will hold an international scientific and medical conference at the Hungarian University of Sports Science.

On 27 April, the professional conference titled "Women in Hungarian Tennis Life" was held at the House of Hungarian Sport. 

A considerable interest was shown in the 1st Strength and Sports Science Conference organised by the Hungarian Football Association at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS). The event was attended by Hungary men's senior manager Marco Rossi.

The 3rd International Basketball Conference was organised by the Basketball Special Methodology Centre on 16 and 17 January at the Rátgéber Basketball Academy in Pécs, Hungary. The two-day programme focused on the scientific approach to rehabilitation and recovery. Renowned experts from the NBA and former Euroleague experts gave presentations and held roundtable discussions.

The joint World Diabetes Day event organised on Sunday 13 November by the Sports Nutrition Science Centre of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) and the Association of Sporty Diabetics proved to be a great success again this year.

As a result of a successful TEKA grant, Dr habil Martina Uvacsek and research professor Dr habil István Soós participated in the ninth International Society for Physical Activity and Health (ISPAH) conference that took place in Abu Dhabi from 23 to 26 October this year.

A specific section at The Sport and Innovation Conference to take place from 14 to 16 September will focus on the relationship between martial arts and sports innovation. Dr Antal Kovács, who won Olympic and World Champion gold medals in judo, will moderate the round table discussion. He believes that there is a lot that everyone can learn from the discussion - even those who are not looking for success in sport.

The 5th edition of the Sport and Innovation Conference will be held between 14 and 16 September and it will be hosted by the Hungarian University of Sports Science in Budapest and the National Handball Academy in Balatonboglár. On the first day of the event, a workshop entitled Governance, Financing will be held in Section IV, where Prof Dr Gábor Géczi, Director of the Institute of Economics and Social Sciences of the university, Head of the Department of Sport Management will act as the moderator.

Although this year the 5th Sport and Innovation Conference to be held in Budapest and Balatonboglár between 14 and 16 September 2022 will not be an international one, the only foreign speaker at the event will be sport scientist Prof Dr Marco Cardinale.

For one day, on Wednesday, 14 September, almost all the most important representatives of Hungarian sports science and sports life will move to the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), who will present themselves as exhibitors to the event's participants. This initiative opens a new chapter in the history of the Sport and Innovation Conference that has short a history.

After a two-year break, the National Forum for International Coordinators of the Tempus Public Foundation was hosted by the University of Pécs between June 29- July 1, 2022

On 7 June, 2022, Tempus Public Foundation has hosted a conference entitled: “Stipendium Hungaricum: Internationalization of Higher Education through Scholarship Programs”.

The relationship between competitive sport and ethics in the 21st century will be the focus of the conference to be held on Friday 17 June in the Athens Hall of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS). The conference is a joint event of the Hungarian Coaches' Association, the International Fair Play Committee and HUSS.

On the 1 June, 2022, Tempus Public Foundation hosted a conference entitled “Erasmus+ Opens Doors”.

The International Association of Science Parks (IASP) European Division conference and workshop was held on Friday, April 1 at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS). With more than 100 participants arriving from 13 countries, the event was met with considerable interest.

The day before the IV. Sport and Innovation International Conference, the International Relations Center of the University of Physical Education organized an International Partner Day for the university’s foreign partners as well as the embassies.

The University of Physical Education (TE) and the National Academy of Handball (NEKA) have decided to organise the 4th Sports and Innovation International Conference at a later date. In line with initial plans, the conference was supposed to take place between 19 and 21 May, 2021. If you want to find out the new date of the event, check out the university’s YouTube channel.

The University of Physical Education (UPE) participated at Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) Conference in Winnipeg, Canada in 17-20 November in 2019.

The 3rd International Sport and Innovation Conference held on 2-3 October, 2019, has taken place at a new venue, the modernized campus of the University of Physical Education. This year, besides keeping innovation and sports in the focus, providing a ground for knowledge transfer and exchange of ideas as well as opportunities for sport experts, athletes, educators, researchers and corporate entities, startups and the integrated laboratory have received more emphasis.
