Dear Students, we would like to inform you, that the appearance of the newly detected strain of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Hungary has been comfirmed on the 4^th of March.

The organising committee for the 15th FISU Forum to be held in Budapest between 12th and 16th August, 2020 has been set up at the Hungarian University of Physical Education, which will host the event.

For the first time, Hungary was represented in the United States at a six-week Global Sport Mentoring Program jointly organized by the US Department of State, ESPN Sports TV Channel and the University of Tennessee. In addition to the organizers, the program is sponsored by major American corporations such as Google, Saatchi & Saatchi and New Balance. Upon the offer of the US Embassy of Budapest, the International Relations Center has nominated a candidate who successfully applied.

Recently, Dr. Judit Kádár, Director of the International Relations Center and Fanni Füstös, International Relations Coordinator at the University of Physical Education, visited two universities in England: Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) and London Metropolitan University (LMU).

The University of Physical Education (UPE) participated at Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) Conference in Winnipeg, Canada in 17-20 November in 2019.

The 3rd International Sport and Innovation Conference held on 2-3 October, 2019, has taken place at a new venue, the modernized campus of the University of Physical Education. This year, besides keeping innovation and sports in the focus, providing a ground for knowledge transfer and exchange of ideas as well as opportunities for sport experts, athletes, educators, researchers and corporate entities, startups and the integrated laboratory have received more emphasis.

On 1 October, the day before the 3. Sport and Innovation International Conference, the University of Physical Education (UPE) has welcomed international guests on the International Partner Day. During the event, several meetings were held with delegations from various partner institutions.

The exciting program of the 3. Sport and Innovation International Conference was enriched by the attendance of many international delegations to our university. The visit of the Colombian swimmer delegation, which was a great success last fall, was organized for the second time at UPE at the request of the Colombian Embassy in Budapest, with the help of Counselor Duván Reynerio Ocampo Pinzón.

Dear Students! On behalf of the Organizing Committee we would like to invite you to the International Student Congress on Sport Sciences (ISCSS-2020) in Budapest, Hungary. The 24^th ISCSS Congress will be held at the new campus of the University of Physical Education, Budapest.

A short summer training was held for the second time for UPE instructors, researchers and administrative staff by Dr. Paul Edmunds, Director of the University of New Mexico Language Department (CELAC).
