Tibor Hortobágyi's article published in Ageing Research Review

The article titled „The impact of aerobic and resistance training intensity on markers of neuroplasticity in health and disease” published by Dr Tibor Hortobágyi, Research Professor at the Department of Kinesiology at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) was published in the Ageing Research Review, a scientific journal with almost 12 impact factors.

Antal Kovács to moderate an informative session on combat sports at the Sport and Innovation Conference

A specific section at The Sport and Innovation Conference to take place from 14 to 16 September will focus on the relationship between martial arts and sports innovation. Dr Antal Kovács, who won Olympic and World Champion gold medals in judo, will moderate the round table discussion. New elements of renewed teacher training at the heart of the 5th Sport and Innovation Conference

The fifth edition of the Sport and Innovation Conference will take place from 14 to 16 September. The three-day event will be hosted by the Hungarian University of Sport Sciences (14 September, Budapest) and the National Handball Academy (15 and 16 September, Balatonboglár). On the first day of the event, Dr László Tóth, Director of the Teacher Training Institute of the university will moderate the workshop entitled Teacher Training in section one.

The 5th edition of the Sport and Innovation Conference will be held between 14 and 16 September and it will be hosted by the Hungarian University of Sports Science in Budapest and the National Handball Academy in Balatonboglár. With the participation of the Hungarian University of Sports Sciences (HUSS), the kick-off meeting for Erasmus+ project named Meter Matters was organized in Ljubljana. The Faculty of Sport of the University of Ljubljana, the coordinator of the project, along with other partners from Slovenia and Portugal were introduced to the project that will be completed at the end of May 2024.
