The Embassy of Hungary in Paris witnessed a convergence of minds and ideas as the Sports Diplomacy Conference kicked off last year. A number of European higher education institutions were represented recently in an event held in St. Pölten, Austria. The Hungarian University of Sports Science’s (HUSS) partner institution, the St. Pölten University organised a training course for those working in the internationalisation of higher education.

Dr Klaudia Zuskova, Associate Professor at the Pavol Jozef Safarik University based in Kosice visited the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) as part of the Erasmus+ KA131 programme.

The programme of the International Days in HUSS 2023 (IDIH 2023) that will take place at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) from April 25th to 27th is now complete. The event will be organised by the International Relations Centre (IRC).

On 8-9 September, the TES-D Sport Diplomacy Pilot Project was completed successfully in Zagreb, the last program component of the project.

On 22 June, the Hungarian University of Sports Science hosted some leaders of the Indonesian National Olympic Committee: Vice Secretary-General, Daniel Loy, Jovinus Carolus Legawa, Head of Sport Development and Lilla Horváth, Director of international relations.

A six-member delegation led by the rector of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), dr. Tamás Sterbenz, met with the leaders and representatives of 11 international sports federations in Lausanne that is known as the home of federations on 26 April.

Recently the University of Physical Education has hosted a special event organized by the Hungarian Embassy in the Philippines. The University of Physical Education welcomed seventy Philippine students studying in Hungary at this unique “Alumni Event”.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the representatives of the University of Physical Education have participated a one-day visit to fulfill the invitation of the Embassy of Bern and to strengthen the partnership with our new institutional partner, the University of Bern.
