The 3rd Biomechanics Symposium will take place on October 13 and 14 at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. The registration deadline is October 7.
This year’s main topics will be injury prevention and rehabilitation, explored in depth during this international, English-language event. Nearly 300 participants are expected, and the symposium is one of the key events of the university’s centennial celebration. Renowned national and international researchers will deliver world-class presentations.
“This was so good that I’ll come next year even if I don’t get invited!” – summarized one of the speakers about their experience at last year’s symposium, also hosted by HUSS.
And this year’s event promises to be just as unmissable – the registration deadline is October 7.
The HUSS organizing team consisting of Dr. András Hegyi, Professor h. c. Tibor Hortobágyi, and Dr. Annamária Péter has carefully selected topics that are not only timely, but also highly relevant from a practical standpoint, bridging sports science, medicine, and physiology.
What makes the symposium unique is its friendly, intimate atmosphere, non-parallel session format, and interactive professional dialogue, making it especially valuable for all participants – whether they’re experienced researchers or first-year students.
Young researchers are encouraged to participate in a dedicated poster session, where they can present their work through short talks and compete for valuable prizes. The competition is supported by the MDPI Biomechanics journal, and the winners will be announced at a closing dinner and awards ceremony.
Here is the event programme, and you can register here – until October 7.
