Successful international participation in Florida – Tamás Csányi represented HUSS at the AIESEP conference

Dr habil. Tamás Csányi represented the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) at this year’s AIESEP international conference held at the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg, Florida between 19 and 22 May.

The AIESEP, the International Association for Physical Education in Higher Education, hosted its annual scientific conference, where nearly 400 participants shared their research findings and professional experiences.

Dr habil. Tamás Csányi, Head of the Department of Theoretical Physical Education and Teaching Methodology, presented his research group’s latest study, which was published in March 2025 in the prestigious Trends in Neuroscience and Education journal. The research focussed on the global prevalence of so-called neuromyths – neuroscientific misconceptions – related to motor development and motor learning, a topic that has received limited international attention so far.

His presentation sparked great interest among the audience. Congratulations on the publication and the successful international presentation!
