On the occasion of Hungarian Parasport Day, the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) hosted a special professional programme. During a pedagogical class of the Department of Martial Arts, the university sports club, TFSE’s para-karate athletes and a delegation from Japan’s Kokushikan University jointly demonstrated the sport’s power to transcend boundaries and foster inclusion.

The study titled “Novel, Sport-Specific EMG-Based Method to Evaluate Movement Efficiency in Karate Punching” was recently published in the prestigious Q1-ranked journal Sports (impact factor: 2.9), the result of exemplary collaboration among three departments of Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS).

On May 16, international experts gathered at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) to reflect together on the past, present, and future of budo. The conference provided a valuable opportunity for experience-sharing and networking.
